Kareen Durr has worked extensively in the banking sector with over 25 years of experience within corporate finance, loans syndications, (structured) trade finance and (structured) commodity finance. During her career, Kareen has worked for 2 leading global banks, ING Bank and Rabobank in the Netherlands and in Australia/New Zealand.Kareen’s experience in the commodity finance sector has seen her working on a large number of transactions ranging from pre-export finance, post export finance, borrowing base facilities, structured inventory products and receivables facilities, on a bilateral and syndicated basis across a number of commodities including grains & oilseeds, cotton, sugar and dairy in a variety of jurisdictions. She has been succesfull in leading and managing numerous transactions and has an extensive experience in regarding to structuring complex cross border transaction incorporating legal, counterparty & country risk issues based around her strong analytical, negotiation and legal skills. She is an experienced, customer focused, result driven, advisor, successful at improving operations, impacting business growth and enhancing profits and a creative and innovative thinker that seeks a financial solution to a business proposition. Kareen holds a Master degree in Civil Laws (Amsterdam).
